Accuracy and usefulness come before volume.
The editorial workflow is designed to publish a small number of useful stories each day, with traceable sources and clear limits on unsupported claims.
Sourcing
Stories should be grounded in official announcements, first-party pages or established gaming publications. Each article keeps its source links. Steam and YouTube links shown as official links are taken from source material or the original listing rather than generated from guesswork.
Automation
Automated tools monitor sources, extract material, draft English-language stories and review drafts before publication. The Editorial Team byline identifies the publication; it does not imply that a named journalist personally wrote, tested or reviewed a story. Automated checks examine content quality, source links, dates and media permissions, and compare article claims against retrieved first-party source material. Articles without sufficient evidence, including rumors, shallow drafts, unsupported reviews and uncertain material, are held back. Automated review can make mistakes and does not guarantee factual accuracy, originality or independent human fact-checking. We correct errors that are brought to our attention.
Daily publishing limits
The system sets a ceiling of four to five stories per day. Actual publication depends on passing the editorial checks and publication safeguards, so some days may have fewer stories. This keeps the publication focused on relevance instead of producing pages simply to increase volume.
Headlines and context
Headlines should describe actual developments without manufactured urgency or clickbait. Reports should add concrete, source-supported context and useful outbound references to official announcements, game pages or trailers where available. We never claim hands-on play, independent hardware testing or a firsthand review without evidence. We reject padding and repetitive restatement of a source.
Images and permissions
New automated articles use original Nerd Game News editorial illustrations or images with documented reuse rights. Each article is designed to include at least two illustrative images. Our original graphics are not gameplay screenshots.
Some older articles display a limited set of previously published game images in their original news context. Their captions link to the source publication and identify where the images were obtained. Copyright remains with the relevant rightsholders, and we have not independently verified reuse permission for every historical image. Credits and links are not licenses. These historical assets are being reviewed and may be replaced or removed when we cannot justify continued use. Rights holders may request correction or removal through our editorial contact.
Corrections
Material factual errors are corrected in the article when identified. Substantive updates should also refresh the article's modified date. Readers can report inaccurate dates, broken links, incorrect attribution or licensing concerns via our editorial contact.
