Helldivers 2 uses several reward and progression terms, and they do different jobs. The PlayStation Store describes Super Credits as virtual currency that can be spent in the in-game Superstore, including on Warbonds and armor. That makes Super Credits a purchasing currency rather than the same thing as the game's general mission rewards. Check the PlayStation Store - Helldivers 2 for the original details.

Warbonds are one of the places where Super Credits can be used. PlayStation's Super Credits listings describe Warbonds as a route to expanding a Helldiver's arsenal with weapons, stratagems, emotes and other equipment. The store also notes that paid Super Credits and game progression are required to unlock applicable content.

Armor can also appear in the Superstore. Sony sells several Super Credit packs through the PlayStation Store, but the important distinction for players is what the currency does after purchase: it is tied to items and Warbond access in Helldivers 2 rather than being a substitute for every progression resource in the game.

Requisition is described separately on the main Helldivers 2 store page. PlayStation says Super Earth rewards players with Requisition that can be used to access rewards benefiting the player, squad, destroyer ship and wider war effort. The official description therefore treats Requisition as part of play-driven progression rather than as the Superstore currency.

The base game itself is an online third-person shooter built around squads of up to four Helldivers, strategic missions, loadouts and stratagems. On PS5, PlayStation states that gameplay requires internet access and a paid PlayStation Plus membership. Those access requirements are separate from optional Super Credit purchases.

For a new or returning player, the easiest way to read the economy is to keep the labels separate: Super Credits are the store currency, Warbonds unlock themed reward tracks and equipment, and Requisition is another progression resource described by PlayStation as a reward for your work. Checking the current in-game listings remains the best way to see what each active Warbond contains.

An important distinction is that obtaining a Warbond and claiming rewards within it are separate steps. PlayStation explains that Premium Warbonds can be unlocked using Super Credits, while individual rewards are acquired by spending Medals earned through play. Buying entry to a catalogue therefore does not instantly grant every weapon or armor set it contains. Checking both the catalogue price and the number of Medals required for desired items can help players plan progression without assuming one purchase provides everything.

PlayStation's guide also says Warbonds do not expire after they are unlocked. This removes the pressure to complete every reward page before a seasonal deadline and lets players decide whether to prioritize a current catalogue or return to an older one. Super Credits may be obtained through the game's economy, while spending real money is another option; offers and packages can change. The official PlayStation explanation is a better reference for this system than screenshots of old store pricing or an outdated social post.
