Vice City is the headline location in Grand Theft Auto VI, but Rockstar's official material makes clear that the playable setting reaches across the fictional state of Leonida. The company has published dedicated location pages and artwork for six named areas, giving players a reliable outline of the world without relying on leaked maps. Check the Only in Leonida — Rockstar Games for the original details.
Rockstar has not published an official square-mile measurement for the full map on its current GTA VI pages. That means claims about exact map size, road length or comparisons built from fan measurements should remain separate from the confirmed location list below.

Vice City
Vice City is the urban center of GTA VI and Rockstar's modern return to the series' Miami-inspired setting. Official screenshots, trailers and artwork show beaches, high-rise districts, nightlife, highways, waterways and dense neighborhoods, while the story places Jason and Lucia in a conspiracy that reaches beyond the city itself.
Rockstar's own site describes the broader setting as Vice City and beyond, which is the clearest confirmation that the city is one part of a larger Leonida map rather than the entire playable world.
Leonida Keys
The Leonida Keys are one of Rockstar's named destinations and are directly tied to Jason's background. His character profile says he ends up in the Keys working for local drug runners, while Brian Heder operates a boat yard there and gives Jason a place to stay.
That makes the Keys more than scenery. They are part of the protagonists' social and criminal network before the story expands into the wider state.
Grassrivers
Grassrivers is another official Leonida region featured in Rockstar's location material and downloadable postcard artwork. The name and imagery place it among the state's more natural areas, distinct from Vice City's dense urban environment.
Rockstar has shown wildlife and wetlands throughout its GTA VI media, but it has not published a complete boundary map for Grassrivers. The safest confirmed point is that it is a named destination within Leonida and part of the game's broader environmental variety.
Port Gellhorn
Port Gellhorn appears as a dedicated location on Rockstar's official Leonida pages and in the downloadable artwork set. It is presented as a separate destination from Vice City, reinforcing the idea that travel across Leonida will move through communities with different identities rather than one continuous urban district.
Rockstar also links parts of the supporting cast to locations beyond Vice City, so places such as Port Gellhorn are likely to matter to the story as well as exploration. Exact mission structure remains information for the game itself rather than something Rockstar has fully detailed on the map pages.
Ambrosia
Ambrosia is one of the six named areas Rockstar highlights through its official location pages and postcards. Pre-release material distinguishes it visually from Vice City and the Keys, adding another part of Leonida to the confirmed map outline.
As with the other regions, Rockstar has not provided an official size measurement or a complete road map for Ambrosia. Its status as a named region is confirmed; precise scale and traversal details should wait for direct game or developer information.
Mount Kalaga National Park
Mount Kalaga National Park is the most clearly wilderness-oriented name in Rockstar's current location lineup. Its inclusion shows that GTA VI's version of Leonida reaches well beyond the coastal city imagery most associated with Vice City.
The official media collection includes dedicated Mount Kalaga artwork alongside postcards for the other regions. Together, those assets establish a world built from urban, coastal and natural destinations without requiring a speculative fan map to prove the variety.
What the official map does not tell us yet
The confirmed region names are Vice City, Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga National Park. Rockstar has published imagery and location pages for them, but it has not posted a final full-world map with an official scale figure on the current GTA VI site.
That distinction is useful for anyone following GTA 6 before launch. Official names and Rockstar imagery are dependable; exact size comparisons, reconstructed road networks and leaked boundaries belong in a different category until the company publishes its own complete map or the finished game can be examined directly.
