Disney/Pixar Toy Story 3 Complete Edition has been officially listed as a new release on Steam, with a confirmed launch date of October 15, 2026. The game is developed by Digital Eclipse and published by Atari and Digital Eclipse, targeting fans of the iconic 2010 animated film. Check the Steam for the original details.

The game includes two primary gameplay modes: Story Mode, where players relive key moments from Toy Story 3 by swapping between Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Jessie, and Toy Box Mode, a sandbox environment inspired by the film's Wild West setting. In Toy Box Mode, players can complete quests, customize the town, and interact with characters to earn gold for personalizing the environment.

Toy Story 3 Complete Edition introduces several enhancements over previous versions, including the ability to play as Emperor Zurg in Toy Box Mode and access four additional Theme Packs for customization. The game also features upgraded graphics, resolution, and framerate compared to earlier iterations.

The release includes both single-player and two-player co-op functionality, allowing players to team up in local co-op mode. The game supports multiple languages, including English and 18 additional languages, and is available on Steam with features such as Steam Achievements, Steam Cloud, and Remote Play Together.

System requirements for the game specify a minimum of Windows 10 64-bit, an Intel Core i3-4130 or AMD equivalent processor, 4 GB of RAM, and a Radeon HD 7770 or equivalent graphics card. The recommended configuration includes a Ryzen 3 3100 or Intel Core i5-4690K processor, 8 GB of RAM, and a GeForce GTX 1050 Ti or Radeon RX 460 graphics card. Steam lists 8 GB of available storage for both configurations.

Story Mode and Toy Box Mode offer different reasons to return to this adaptation. Story Mode follows recognizable moments from the film, including the train rescue and the junkyard sequence, and gives the three central toys different traversal and interaction abilities. Woody can use his pull string to swing, while Buzz can use his strength to launch fellow toys. These are the kinds of abilities players will need to consider during the campaign's platforming challenges.

Toy Box Mode provides a more open-ended option for players who prefer exploring to replaying film scenes. Its Woody's Roundup setting gives visitors missions from local characters, with earned gold going toward buildings, outfits and decorations. The additional Theme Packs and Zurg's playable role are especially relevant to returning players who only experienced one of the original releases and missed its platform-specific extras.

The Steam page explicitly lists local two-player co-op in both Story and Toy Box modes. Remote Play Together is also shown as a supported Steam feature, although players should consult Steam's current requirements before relying on a remote session. That is different from a promise of a dedicated online multiplayer mode, which the listing does not make.

Players checking language support should look at the distinction between interface, audio and subtitles on Steam's feature table. The store lists Brazilian Portuguese among the supported languages and provides separate columns for each type of localization. It also lists a third-party end-user license agreement, an item prospective buyers may want to read before checkout.

The Steam listing provides the current regional price, availability and player review summary, which can change over time. Players can consult that listing directly before buying to see the latest details for their region.
