Arrowhead Studios has announced the third annual Liberty Day celebration for Helldivers 2, offering active players a range of in-game gifts, ship decorations, and community activities. The event, which takes place on October 26, 2026, includes new holiday ship adornment regulations for Super Destroyers, a special gift called the AR-23L Liberator Legacy 1, and a return of several community minigames. Check the PlayStation Blog for the original details. For the related official page, see Helldivers 2.
The AR-23L Liberator Legacy 1 is a retro-style weapon modeled after First Galactic War equipment that players can receive at the conclusion of Liberty Day celebrations. To claim this gift, active Helldivers must log in and participate in the event. Additionally, the game brings back community minigames such as Minidivers, where players send emoji stratagem codes to defeat enemies, Adopt-a-SEAF for receiving a blueberry to send on missions, Oath of Enlistment for obtaining a copy of the oath, and Raise the Flag for saluting in chat.

For players who prefer offline celebrations, the Liberty Day Party Pack is available through the Party Planning Protocol, a regulation enacted by High Command this year. This pack includes games, decorations, and printable Helldiver helmets to help citizens prepare for their celebrations. The pack can be downloaded via a link provided in the game.
Liberty Day 2026 also features several officially recognized activities across the galaxy, including the Liberty Day Pyre where families gather to reflect on patriotism and open gifts, Liberty Day Parades with routes available in local colonies, the Mandatory Salute requiring unified salutes across the galaxy, Helldiver Enlistment for new players, and Orbital Bombardment of the Moon to send a message to enemies using 15,000 megatons of ordnance. Fireworks are also part of the event to light the spark of civic duty.
The event includes special merchandise for PlayStation Plus members, with the Helldivers 2 Display Shards collection available at Displate featuring six limited edition metal collectibles. A pre-order for the FiGGYZ collector's box set, including pixel-art magnetic figures of Helldiver (Quick Draw), Helldiver (Flagbearer), Hulk, and Devastator, begins November 20, 2. Additionally, the Super Merch Store offers exclusive items for players who complete in-game achievements before February 28, 2027, including the Hell Commander Pin for reaching Level 100 and the Private Teddy Snuggles Plush after completing 75 missions.
Rifles are distributed to eligible players at 23:59 CET on October 26, 2026, to those who have played since September 26, 2026, 00:00 CET. The Private Teddy Snuggles Plush is limited to one per player and unavailable for shipping to Japan.
