Rainbow Six Siege has officially launched its Legend Division, a new solo queue competitive playlist for players aiming to surpass Champion rank. The update, part of Operation Split Fire, runs through December 1, 2026, and requires players to meet specific security and progression criteria, including Secure Boot enabled, two-factor authentication, Champion rank, Clearance Level 200+, Platinum rank from the previous season, and Reputation Standing level three or higher. Check the Ubisoft News for the original details. For the related official page, see Arrow Left Black arrow pointing left.
Noor, a Defender Operator, received significant balance adjustments in this mid-season update. His Horus Lance Launcher now drills targets in 1.5 seconds on soft surfaces, ballistic shields, and hard surfaces, increases Guardbreak strength to 100% on projectile impact against ballistic shields, reduces equip timing to 0.4 seconds via Quickdraw animations, and deals 80 direct damage against Operators instead of 50. Additionally, the weapon now damages ballistic shield Operators during shield removal animations, and general hitbox improvements were implemented.

The update also includes a final Ranked map rotation for competitive players. Pro Maps now feature Border Bank, Chalet, Clubhouse, Villa, Fortress, Kafe, Lair, and Nighthaven, while additional Ranked maps include Oregon Coastline, Consulate, Kanal, Outback, and Casino. Operation Split Fire will be the last season using this current Ranked Map Rotation system, with future seasons adopting a new approach based on community feedback.
A 50,000+ account ban wave targets account sharers, sellers, and ban evaders, reinforcing Rainbow Six Siege’s commitment to game integrity. This initiative follows the introduction of the Legend Division and aims to maintain a fair competitive environment.
Secure Boot, a new PC security measure, is now a mandatory requirement for Legend Division participation. It verifies firmware, Windows, and drivers during PC startup to prevent cheat detection. Players must enable Secure Boot in their BIOS/UEFI settings to comply with this requirement, as modern cheats operate deep within the system.
The Doktor's Curse Halloween event returns through November 2, 2026, offering 5v5 Hide and Seek gameplay. Hunters, including Grim, Hibana, Jackal, Lion, Sledge, Oryx, Nokk, Dokkaebi, Zofia, Deimos, Thatcher, and Finka, use modified Sledge Hammers and Operator gadgets. Monsters, such as Mute, Ela, Kapkan, Smoke, Frost, Lesion, Aruni, Gridlock, Thorn, Nomad, Azami, Melusi, Fenrir, and Tubarao, feature Nightstride as a secondary gadget and modified Operator gadgets without primary or secondary weapons.
Tachanka received a switchable launcher mode: Impact Mode (projectiles explode on impact) and Bounce Mode (projectiles pass through fragile objects). Snake Soliton’s Radar MK III now has precision charges reduced to three, Valkyrie added a Glaive-12 as a secondary weapon, and Captião’s fire expansion delay was reduced to 0.9 seconds with increased slowdown strength when running away.
OSA deployment restrictions were tightened, reducing frontal space to 0.25m, vertical space to 0.6m, and space behind the player to 0.005m. Fire damage increased to 14HP for OSA, affecting Tachanka, Goyo, Capitao, Dokkaebi, Noor, and Gas Pipes. Barbed Wire now completely stops the BU-GI OF RAM.
The event includes Operator bundles for Grim, Hibana, and Mute, two weapon skin bundles, a 33-item collection culminating in the M590A1 shotgun, in-game challenges, and a free event pack. Twitch drops are also available for the event.
